Aries Man and His Dog

Aries: March 21^st – April 20^th

If a male of each Sun-sign (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Pisces) were to buy a dog, it is highly unlikely that any two or more would buy the same type of dog. This therefore, gives professional Astrologers clues about a person who owns a particular kind of dog – they don’t even need to know a person’s location, date or time or birth. It is not a foolproof method of Zodiac sign detection – for instance people sometimes inherit dogs and that man you fancy might be walking his friend’s or Mother’s dog.
As long as you know that a person has chosen their canine companion, this knowledge can be useful. Even when people don’t turn out to have the type of dog typical of their Sun-sign, their choice of dog still tells us much about their character or strong Astrological influence.

Aries Man’s Dog of Choice

Aries is the athlete of the Zodiac. The average Aries will participate in at least some sport. When they buy a dog to become their companion they are drawn to athletic dogs. If they decide to go for a pedigree (although this is advised against because of many issues with over breeding) they might go for Whippets and Greyhounds. These dogs are built for quick bursts of speed will appeal to them. If they give a home to a mongrel, (the best course of action as mongrels are normally easier natured enjoy better health inherently), they’ll go for something small-medium and compact dog. That dishy man who jogs through the park in the morning, followed by his dog is very likely an Aries. If when you get to know him, you discover he is a different Star-sign, then it is very likely that Aries figures strongly in his chart – they could perhaps have Mars (the planet which rules Aries) in Aries. Other men that go for dogs that look like sheep or athletic dogs have their Ascendant in Aries. The Ascendant in a person’s chart influences they way they project themselves to the world – what better way of projecting yourself (consciously or unconsciously) than through the dog you choose?

Women should seek men with certain qualities and avoid those with others. Kindness, a sense of responsibility and signs that the man of interest is sorted are what they look for. A sign that a man has all three is that he is a responsible dog owner. Some of the best relationships I have come across met while out walking their dogs. By the way, if you are interested in a man out walking two very different types of dogs – a Scottish Terrier with a Labrador for instance, don’t waste your time. Of course, it’s not that I’ve chatted up many men thus accompanied in my time. Rather, it’s that it stands to Astrological reason: these men always seem to be taken as they turn out to be walking their and their partner’s dog.
